Switched On Stories

Stories from the lights of leamington

The Lights of Leamington Festival was a beloved annual event in Leamington's Jephson Gardens, featuring dazzling lights, fireworks, and entertainment to lift post-war spirits. It ran from 1951 - 1961.

We have secured National Heritage Lottery Funding to gather stories and memorabilia from the festival. This collection will feature in an exhibition, film, podcasts, pamphlet and will be archived launching in February 2025, alongside a new lights festival.

And we want to hear from you!
